FOOD REVIEW.

 Nasi Goreng.











The literal translation of Nasi Goreng is “fried rice” in Indonesian and Malaysian. It’s mainly rice with just a little bit of meat and just onion for the vegetables. The thing that distinguishes it from other Fried Rice dishes is the sauce which is made with kecap manis, a sweet soy sauce that stains the rice dark brown and caramelises the rice when it cooks. Typically it’s served with a sunny side up egg the yolk runs into the rice and a side of fresh cucumber and tomato (no dressing) to make a meal of it. Nasi Goreng is the popular Indonesian fried rice which is traditionally served with a fried egg. 

Pizza.




Pizza is a popular dish that originated in Italy. It typically consists of a round, flattened wheat dough topped with tomato sauce, cheese, and various ingredients such as meats, vegetables, and herbs. It is then baked in an oven. Pizza can be found in pizzerias, restaurants, and even made at home worldwide, reflecting diverse regional variations in toppings and styles. Lanka has its own unique take on pizza, often incorporating local flavors. One popular variety is the "Kottu Pizza," which combines the traditional Sri Lankan street food, Kottu Roti, with pizza toppings. It's a flavorful fusion dish enjoyed by many in the country.

Pasta.





Pasta is a staple food originating from Italy, typically made from durum wheat and water. It comes in various shapes and sizes, such as spaghetti, penne, and fusilli. Pasta is commonly boiled and served with a variety of sauces, including marinara, Alfredo, or pesto, making it a versatile and widely enjoyed dish worldwide.
